Educational Qualification:
- A Pass in SSC
AND
Government Diploma in Arts course with (a) Free hand outline and model drawing (b) Design and (c) Painting
AND
A Technical Teacher’s Certificate in Higher Grade in Drawing issued by Director of Government Exams of AP/TS
- A diploma in Home Science recognized by State Board of Technical Education and Training
- A 3-year Diploma in Craft Technology recognized by State Board of Technical Education and Training
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Applied Art (or) Painting (or) Sculpture OR BFA (Painting, Sculpture and Print making) OR BFA Animation from an Institution recognized by UGC/ AICTE
Age Limit:
- SC/ST and BCs : 5 years
- PH Candidates : 10 years
- Ex-serviceman : 3 years
- NCC : 3 years
- Retrenched temporary employees : 3 years
- Telangana State Government Employees : 5 years

Examination (Objective Type) by Online/OMR Based.
- General Studies and Art and Art Education.
