- Intermediate or its equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education.
- Must possess a Motor Driving License to drive Light Motor Vehicle as on the Date of Notification

- SC, ST, BC : 5 years
- NCC : 3 years
- Ex-servicemen : 3 years
