TSPSC has released recruitment notification for the recruitment of 67 Forest Range Officers . Interested candidates can apply online through TSPSC official online portal . Before applying , candidates are advised to check Eligibility , Educational qualification , Age limit , Application fee .

Pay Scale : Rs.31460/- to Rs.84970/-
Forest Range Officer Age
Minimum 18 years & Maximum 28 years. The age is reckoned as on 01/07/2017
Minimum Age (18 years) : A Candidate should not be born after 01/07/1999.
Maximum Age (28 years) : A candidate should not be born before 02/07/1989.
Relaxation in age:
- SC / ST / BC : 5 years
- N.C.C.(who have worked as Instructor in N.C.C.) : 3 Years & length of service rendered in the N.C.C
- Ex-Service men : 3 years & length of service rendered in the armed forces.
- Telangana State Government Employees (Employees of TSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities etc. are not eligible) : 5 Years based on the length of regular service.
- Temporary employees in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months : 3 years
Forest Range Officer Qualification:
Bachelors Degree or any equivalent qualification in the following subjects:-
- Agriculture
- Botany
- Chemistry
- Computer Applications/Computer Science
- Engineering (Agriculture/Chemical/Civil/Computer/Electrical/Eletronics/Mechanical)
- Environmental Science
- Forestry
- Geology
- Horticulture
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Statistics
- Veterinary Science
- Zoology
Physical Requirements:
For Men:
1. He is not less than 163 Cms. in height;
2. He has 79 Cms. around the Chest on expiration and must have on full inspiration, an expansion of not less than 5 Cms. and
3. He is able to walk 25 Kms. in Four (4) hours.
For Women:
1. She is not less than 150 Cms. in height;
2. She has 74 Cms. around the chest on expiration and must have on full inspiration, an expansion of not less than 5 Cms. and
3. She is able to walk 16 Kms. in four (4) hours
N.B: Common for Men and Women Must undergo a medical Examination to be conducted by the Medical Board at Hyderabad and produce a health certificate signed by the Medical Board in the form prescribedby Article
49 of the Civil Service Regulations testifying to the candidates sound hearing and general physical fitness for out
door work in the Forest Department and to the fact that he/she bears on his body marks of successful vaccination.
Provided that in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and races such as Gurkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, Meghalaya, Ladakh, Nagaland, Manipur, Goutha, Kashmiri, Sikkimese, Bhutanese and Tripura, the minimum standard of height shall be as follows:
Men : 152 Cms.
Women: 145 Cms.
Forest Range Officer Fee :
Rs. 200/- towards Online Application Processing Fee and Rs.120/- towards Examination Fee apply online through SBI ePay.
The following category of candidates are exempted from payment of Examination fee.
- SC, ST & BC candidates of Telangana State
- Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 28 years of Telangana State (They have to submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission that they are unemployed).
- Ex-service men
N.B.:- BC’s, SC’s and ST’s belonging to other state s are not exempted from payment of Application processing Fee and Examination Fee and they are not entitled for any kind of reservation
Forest Range Officer Application Procedure:
Candidates are requested to keep the details of the following documents ready while uploading their OTR Applications.
- Aadhar number
- Educational Qualification details i.e., SSC, INTER MEDIATE, DEGREE, POST GRADUATION etc. and their Roll numbers, Year of passing etc.
- Community/ Caste Certificate obtained from Mee Seva / E Seva i.e., Enrollment number and date of issue for uploading in OTR.
