Agriculture Extension Officer Grade-II in Agriculture and Co-operation Department (Subordinate Service) in the State of Telangana.

The Commission reserves the right to conduct the Examination either COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT TEST (CBRT) or OFFLINE OMR based Examination of objective type.
Name of the Post : Agriculture Extension Officer Grade-II : 851 Post Vacancies
Pay Scale : RS.22,460 to Rs.66,330/-
Qualification:
- 1) Must have passed a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (4 and 3 years course)
OR - 2) Diploma in Agricultural Engineering / B.tech (Agrl.Engg.) on equal proportion.
OR - 3) Diploma in Agriculture Polytechnic or Diploma in Agriculture Polytechnic (Seed Technology), (Plant Protection) and (Organic Farming).
OR - 4) Must have passed a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Commercial Agriculture and Business Management
Note: – (1) The vacancies notified shall be filled with the candidates who possess the above qualifications in the ratio of 4:1:4:1 respectively out of every 10 vacancies.
(2) If the candidates with the said qualifications in the ratio prescribed are not available among the applicants,
such vacancies may be filled with the applicants available with other qualifications in the rotation as per merit
AGE Limit : As on 01/07/2017
- Minimum : 18 years : A Candidate should not be born after 01/07/1999.
- Maximum : 44 years : A candidate should not be born before 02/07/1973.
Relaxation in age:
- SC/ST and BCs : 5 years
- Physically Handicapped persons : 10 years
- Ex-Service men : 3 years & length of service rendered in the armed forces.
- N.C.C.(who have worked as Instructor in N.C.C.) : 3 Years & length of service rendered in the N.C.C.

Retrenched temporary employees in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months : 3 Years

Telangana State Government Employees (Employees of TSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities etc. are not eligible) : 5 Years based on the length of regular service.

EXAMINATION (OBJECTIVE TYPE) BY ONLINE / OMR BASED.
Center for Written Examination
The Examination will be held at HYDERABAD. Commission can allot candidates to any centre other than the centre chosen by the applicant. Request for change of the centre will not be entertained.
