Syllabus for TS Police SI 2016 Preliminary Written Test
Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Selection Process of Telangana (TS) Police SI 2016
Candidates qualified in the preliminary written test have to undergo PMT and should meet the following requirements.
Men
Height : Must not be less than 167.6 cms
Chest : Must not be less than 86.3 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
Women
Height: Must not be less than 152.5 cms
Chest : Must not be less than 86.3 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
Women
Height: Must not be less than 152.5 cms
Candidates belonging to aboriginal tribes in the agency areas of Mahaboobnagar, Adilabad, Warangal and Khammam districts should meet the following physical standards
Men
Height : Must not be less than 160 cms
Chest : Must not be less than 80 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 3 cms.
Women
Height: Must not be less than 150 cms
Chest : Must not be less than 80 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 3 cms.
Women
Height: Must not be less than 150 cms
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Selection Process of Telangana (TS) Police SI 2016
Candidates qualified in the PMT will be required to undergo the following tests and qualify as specified
For SI of Police in (Civil & Fire)
Men candidates must qualify in any of the three (3) events (must qualify in 800 meters run ou of 3 events), out of the five (5) events of the Physical Efficiency Test.
For SI of Police in (Civil)
Women candidates must qualify in any of the two (2) events (must qualify in 100 meters run out of 2 events), out of the three (3) events of the Physical Efficiency Test.
For SI of Police in (AR, SAR CPL & TSSP)
Men candidates must qualify in all the five (5) events of Physical Efficiency Test carrying 125 maximum marks.
For SI of Police in (AR)
Women candidates must qualify in all the three (3) events of the Physical Efficiency Test carrying 125 maximum marks.
Final Written Examination Selection Process of Telangana (TS) Police SI 2016
Candidates who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test will be required to appear for a Final Written Examination in four papers (each of three hours duration)

Telangana (TS) Police SI Recruitment Procedure 2016
Final Selection of Telangana (TS) Police SI 2016
For SI (Civil and Fire) : The final selection of the candidates will be made strictly on relative merit, as obtained by them based on their score in the final written examination (Papers I, II, III and IV) for a total of 600 marks.
For SI (AR, SAR CPL, TSSP) : The final selection of the candidates will be made strictly on relative merit, as obtained by them based on their score in the final written examination (Papers I and II (for 200 marks) and Physical Efficiency Test (for 125 marks) totaling to 325 marks.
